Julian G. Senior, Attorney

There are lawyers who have tried cases, then there are real first-chair trial lawyers. Julian tries four to five cases each year. Julian founded the firm to give clients the best legal representation from lawyers who do not get cold feet on the eve of trial—and avoid a cookie-cutter approach. Julian focuses his practice on product liability, consumer litigation and fraud within the automotive, pharmaceutical and commercial products industries.

Julian has viewed the practice of law from all sides. He got into the trenches as a trial lawyer in Indianapolis and worked in-house for an auto manufacturer for several years, was the lead trial lawyer at a national firm’s Los Angeles office, trying seven cases to verdict in 2017 alone.

Julian has tried numerous cases to verdict and handled cases involving brain injury, paralysis, amputation and wrongful death in California, as well as a number of other states. He has tried cases for Kia Motors America, Inc., Hyundai Motor America, Toyota Motor Sales, Isuzu Motors America, Inc., Nissan North America, Rolls-Royce, Allison Engine Company, among others. He is often called in at the last minute to step in when trial is inevitable. He has been tapped in at the last minute to argue cases before the California Court of Appeals and to submit briefs at various appellate stages.

Julian has defended cases involving employment claims, business disputes, insurance coverage and credit reporting practices.  He has represented clients in the California and Indiana Courts of Appeals as well as the Seventh and Ninth Circuit Courts of Appeals and managed a number of multistate and complex coordinated proceedings in federal and state court, managing dozens of lawyers and cases from several different law firms.

Julian also recognizes the benefit of having cases resolved through motion practice.  He has had cases dismissed and had judgments entered on his clients’ behalf in a number of cases and at all stages of litigation.  Be it spoliation, causation or the statute of limitation, Julian has an eye for recognizing legal issues and the weaknesses in his opponents’ cases.

Julian frequently speaks at national and industry seminars and provides training to clients and their employees, providing them with tools to navigate through litigation and pre-litigation matters.  He has spoken on topics ranging from preparation of Japanese witnesses, to fraud, to trial procedure and more.  He is a member of the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), American Bar Association, and DRI.
